Hy friends
I am 49 years old and live in Comerio, a little village near Varese (Italy).
The first time I saw a unicycle was 11 years ago. It was in the mountains.
Only after some weeks, I tried to use the unicycle. Marco Vitale was my coach in these first months. Not easy to learn but a beautiful experience.
Since 2008 I never stopped..............
My unicycle history:
I spent some years as advisor in the Italian Unicycle Association (A.I.M.). I attended some European and World Championships (Brixen/Lagenthal/Cuneo-Mondovì/Donostia/Sittard), and several Italian Muni Championships.
In 2011 I placed 1st in Uphill (asphalt) at the Italian Muni Championship and in 2014 I set the Italian 24H-record (km 256,7).
Sometimes I like to ride alone, too, but it’s surely better to share these beautiful moments with my two sons, both 17 years old.
In the last years, I organized several Italian Championships with our local team, the Varese Insubria Unicycle Group, and some Italian Championships, such as Muni, Freestyle/X-Style, with the support of our Association.
Since 2014 I'm the President of the Italian Unicycle Association (A.I.M).
My goal is to spread the unicycle as a sport. In Italy it's not so easy..... so, ........ never say never.......let’s simply work hard and never give up.
